CURTISÂ ALEXANDER KING
King is the co-founder and CEO of the Reentry Arts Connection, a nonprofit organization designed to create avenues for returning citizens to engage with the visual and performing arts. His career has included roles as Associate Director of the Siburt Institute for Church Ministry, Community Relations Director for Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre Company and the Alliance Theatre, Marketing Assistant for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and Associate Minister at the North 10th and Treadaway Church of Christ. He holds a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry degree (Abilene Christian University), a Master of Business Administration degree (Howard University), a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Abilene Christian University), and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration degree (Southwestern Christian College). King enjoys bridging the information gap that often exists between resources and the individuals who could benefit from knowing about them. He sees the BCRC as a crucial part of connecting returning citizens with the vast array of existing and future resources that can support and enrich their reentry process.
